About Me
I am an artist based in Amsterdam, originally from Russia. Art and drawing have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and my greatest sources of inspiration have always been light, color, and flowers.
As a child, I spent countless hours in my grandmother’s garden. She lovingly grew an abundance of flowers, and I was captivated by their delicate forms, soft beauty, and the endless interplay of colors. Those early experiences shaped my deep appreciation for nature and its quiet poetry.
Over time, I came to understand that flowers are much more than a subject to paint. To me, they are a symbol of life itself—its beauty, fragility, and constant renewal. They accompany us through our most meaningful moments and remind us that life is happening here and now.
Through my paintings, I seek to capture this sense of presence, light, and emotional connection. Each work is an invitation to pause, embrace the beauty of the present moment, and celebrate the simple yet profound miracle of being alive.
